Wednesday, December 7, 2022 - I was pleasantly surprised by how gracefully this wine has aged. Drank over 2 nights via coravin then popped the cork on day 3.

The nose is rather subdued with traditional brunello flowers, cherries, and earth. It tastes wonderful. There is a balance of cherry, cedar, earth, and silky smooth rose petals. There is pleasant level of acid that keeps it fresh. Finish is medium long. Drinking perfectly now, but can hold for a while.

I’ve had other vintages of this wine but none as balanced and appealing as 2010.
