Saturday, July 11, 2015 - This is what can happen in Monterrey with a great growing year. This Pinot starts off with a very dark, deeply extracted, concentrated color. The grapes achieved perfect ripeness, and with minimal intervention wine making a quick hitting, deep rich, juicy red and dark fruit impression on the palate. Minimal use of oak brings a Pinot experience. Still some youthful tannins. Nicely balanced and integrated. A bit of a sappy influence to the red fruit on the finish.
