Friday, October 30, 2015 - Hour decant, a very interesting nose of dark raspberry and nutmeg, this had some other interesting element that I could not quite identify, almost stone and mineral like. The palate has medium tannins and bright acidity with a very pleasant peppery note. This is a full bodied wine with a long finish and some intriguing secondary notes that add complexity, a very entertaining wine that adds up to a great QPR. Best American barbera I have had hands down.
