95 Points

Friday, February 19, 2021 - PnP. Browning rim showing age and a largely typical Gevrey nose. Some flowers initially with surprisingly good intensity, lots of sweet jammy fruit, strawberry, cedar and a bit of leather. Holding up very well considering age but would probably drink in the next 2 years.
Given the ever ascending price of GC (rather Burgundy in the round), I thought this at £30 was extraordinarily good value and have already bought more. Vivino scores (4.4) proved to be a useful yardstick and I am giving this 95 for sheer enjoyment and Qpr.
