At home, it was probably a mistake, but we decanted. Pouring into the decanter was some very expressive fresh strawberry and red raspberry. The first taste after decant, the fruit on the lips was still pretty vibrant, but most of the rest of the flavors came off as fairly bland. We kept some overnight. The vibrant fresh fruit was gone, but the raspberry preserves flavors was a nice trade off. And some steely, mineral flavors appeared. Just open this bottle and share with a couple of friends immediately and enjoy.
