Monday, October 22, 2018 - Having been underwhelmed by a 2010 Ridge Lytton just a couple days ago, this was a breath of fresh air. Nice, fairly assertive nose - various red, blue, and black berries. Same on the palate, with no traces of heat, sweetness, or Port-like characteristics. Surprisingly rich and vibrant, although the finish was a little abrupt. Matched up well with grilled strip steaks. Holding up just fine and an almost astonishing value.
