Lots of black currant fruit but also notes of leather and oak. Has a lively acidity and a firm tannin touch. Could probably need more time but I don’t feel that it will improve. The alcohol is fairly dominant and ruined the balance a bit. But, overall a lovely wine despite the warm vintage.
