The wine, once opened, improves the longer it's out. Did not decant. Surprisingly smooth and filled with spices, a hint of tobacco and oak, and berries. The tannins could be more mellow, but at this price, can't complain much. 14% alcohol, so it gets hot. Overall, I'm impressed.
