Friday, January 9, 2015 - Not decanted, consumed over ~2 hours. This started off a little closed and maybe slightly reductive, then showed mostly stewed fruit for a little while, and finally after an hour plus of air came into its own. Black cherry and plum/prune fruit with additional notes of coffee, cocoa, and a whiff of smoked meat. Slightly rustic structure (which I don't mind) and a medium-plus body. Really like this garnacha at the price point.
