Saturday, February 8, 2014 - Year 2 - Super Tasting 2 of 5 - Andrew does Rioja (Langdon Hall, Cambridge, ON): This wine had a fantastic showing on this evening. Clean and quite young tasting built on copious amounts of blue fruit. Nose is massive and expressive of perfume, dried flower petals, violets, lavendar, flower blossoms, blueberry, blue powdered candy, and background saline/sweat. Palate is caressing with lush blue fruit and a very long finish. This showed quite young considering its age.
