Thursday, December 21, 2023 - Pronounced nose of dried red cherry, sour red plum, dried rose, asparagus, blood, forest floor, and savory olive notes. Medium+ acidity, medium resolved tannins, and medium, somewhat diluted finish. I see what others may perceive as under-ripe, but I think this was a surprisingly good cool-climate Syrah that is still pleasurable for what it is.
