Monday, June 15, 2015 - A pale strawberry with a distinctly orange hue, this wine is just lovely to look at, and the nose is spectacular: rose water, orange juice, white grape juice, cherry bonbons. But surprisingly firm on the palate, when you feared a flabby tuti-fruiti kind of wine: eyes closed you might think this was a high-end rhone white, albeit a bit sweet (the significant acidity helps keep that sweetness in check, but this is not a dry wine). Really fascinating. Perfect for summer picnics.
