Saturday, June 10, 2023 - Needs some air (somebody wrote here, that EVERY wine, even the old ones, needs 4 hours of air), this one was exactly in its sweet spot after a double decant and 4 hours "shoulder free" in the bottle. Then it was singing! (At opening and even after 2 hours it was still a little shy) Beautiful tertiary notes on the nose, like a walk in the forest. Forest floor, wet wood and mushrooms. Berries in the background, but still there. The same on the palate. Fresh, but even with a bit of sweetness that puts some pressure on the palate. Very classical. Very long. Glad to have 2 more...
