Monday, January 26, 2015 - Decanted 90 minutes, but other than sediment not necessary. This was really nice and seems fully mature. Complex aromas of red and dark fruits, along with earth, tar, anise, tobacco, and floral notes. Silky palate with medium fruit weight. The soft tannins and modest acidity created a finesse that played weight vs lightness. Very good with grilled ny strips. Flavors not as complex as nose and the length was modest.
