Sunday, February 28, 2021 - Med + ruby with a purple core and a hint of garnet on the rim. Med + nose of ripe blackberry, plum sauce, a hint of mint, leather, caramel and lots of sweet baking spices from the oak. Dry, but very fruit-forward, with med acidity, med to med (+), smooth, resolved tannins and high alcohol (14.5%). Full-bodied, with med (+) flavor intensity and a nice long finish. At or close to its peak, IMHO, but it should continue to show well for several years. Great QPR from a classic producer.
