Sunday, March 27, 2016 - I am usually not the biggest fan of these Barbera/Nebbiolo blends but here it just works very beautifully (another one that works for me is the Paitin). Explosive and perfumed aromatics of black cherries, plum, licorice, cloves, dark chocolate and some leather and tobacco. Overall very sexy and seductive. It's medium-full-bodied but has lovely balance with medium tannin and medium+ acidity providing nice freshness. Good length. This is drinking perfectly right now, not sure if aging will add anything... a very pretty and seductive wine.
