Sunday, May 10, 2009 - My 4th bottle of this wine, with the last one being just about a year ago. Having tasted this wine last night over a couple hours, I was surprised as to how it unfolded and the amount of richness that it showed. I don't recall this richness and forwardness in the previous bottles so I would put forth there is change in this wine as it softens. Ripe blue and black fruits, hint of olive. The finish lingers with a solid blueberry signature, along with some chocolate. Would seem at this stage this wine is in the drink window, to hit it now. Probably my favorite wine of the night, too.
