Sunday, November 1, 2015 - An intense bottle. Deep garnet. Nice nose of bramble, white pepper, black cherries. Rich and tart on the palate, somewhat austere even. Currant and blueberry flavors along with some herbal notes in a medium-full, hard texture. The finish is fairly long, drying, moderately tannic. An ambitious bottle that shows an extracted style backed by very firm acids. Maybe it needs time but right now it is very intense.
