Monday, May 23, 2005 - Tempranillo at Bandoleone in Fremont (Bandoleone Restaurant): Oaky, Vanilla, Blackberry, cedar, a hint of menthol. Lots of wood tannin and a bit of heat obscure otherwise nice cherry dominant notes on the palate. New oak dominates. I liked it, but would have loved less oak on it.
