Thursday, October 1, 2015 - Annual Chicago winos visit - Dugat Py Chambertins, DRC RSVs, SQN and etc. (The Grill Room at Capella Hotel Georgetown): Classic sweet mature Chenin nose, dry apricot, prune, cinnamon and other sweet spices, a hint of lanoline and petro and oxidize apple. IMO, the common denominator of great sweet wines is the airy texture. Incredibly precision, balance and texture. Energetic and precise palate, dry apricot driven palate impression, strong presence of acidity and lovely sweet clean finish. Exceptional wine.
