Tuesday, February 18, 2020 - Figured I'd throw in my 2 cents since this tasting note is for a wine with a few more years of bottle age than those of the other commenters. The wine has held up very well. I agree with FINEWINEBUFF57; this wine is recognizably New World, but I could believe it was a full bodied white Burgundy (St Aubin?) if I was served blind. The oak is present but well integrated, fresh citrus flavors are present with secondary/tertiary aromas of brown sugar and bruised apple creeping in. In my opinion, the alcohol is a bit hot, but just a bit. Half-full bottle kept well in the fridge for a couple of days. I think it will evolve even for a couple more years. Well done!
