Sunday, September 19, 2021 - My last bottle of ‘97 reluctantly consumed. Gently fading amber elegance - almost ethereal. Never a robust wine but now a silky seamless soft palate of musky almonds and cherry. But Grand Cru pedigree revealed in a long savoury finish, suggesting it could linger for a few more years.
