Saturday, December 19, 2020 - Brief note on a bottle drunk over three evenings. Fairly deep garnet colour softly browning. Earthy, plummy with preserved cherries and other red fruit. Chunky beef stew. Savoury with a little Gevrey funk, particularly on the second night. Some rusticity. Ripe, opulent 2002 berry fruit but with acceptable acidity. For drinking soon. Enjoyable!
