Thursday, January 9, 2020 - Dominus Dinner (Formento's - Chicago IL): Black currant and cherry with anise and allspice with every element in excellent proportion for Napa Cabernet. Still slightly backward now, and clearly ripe, but wonderfully harming with such textural dexterity that this easy to adore. Probably 93 point wine right now, but I think this has the potential to be the best wine of everything we tasted tonight, 95-96+ point potential. If only more Napa wines could be like this.

1/10/2020 9:25:00 AM - Thanks for the TNs. I will forever have the 1994 Dominus ingrained in my mind, so in twenty years it will very interesting to see if the 2013 will be as good or even better.
