Likes this wine:

Friday, February 12, 2016 - Two hour decant. Light and crisp but still full of dark berry and earthy flavors. Well balanced with no tannic bite. Offers a level of sophistication that's not often found in a California Zin. Feels like it's too young now - only 3% of CT bottles consumed - and will reward several years in cellar. It's still a bit "hot" too. Score in the 91-93 range. Side note: I'm torn between the QPR of Martinelli Zins - getting a bit steep - and the refined, sophisticated wines they produce.
