Thursday, September 10, 2020 - I love this Alexander Valley mountain wine. A consistently fantastic wine that is a relative bargain compared to many of similar quality just a short drive down the Napa side. This vintage is a bit lighter ruby in color than others but it has gorgeous aromas of red fruit, holiday baking spice, coffee, green tobacco and some vanilla. This is in a bit of a stranger stage compared to my last bottle a few years ago but should continue to age gracefully.
