Saturday, January 20, 2018 - Blah, blah, something, too young, mumble mumble. Brilliant nose and palate; this is about as cornasien as it gets. It's black fruited, meaty, bloody, and savoury. The olives and stems don't seem to make a big appearance here; it's certainly quite primary at this stage. The tannins, however, aren't particularly prominent, and I would have to guess this is probably a slightly more accessible version of the wine; one to drink while the better vintages age. But maybe not yet, this is indeed young.
