2013 Rhys Chardonnay Alpine Vineyard

Friday, December 18, 2015 - Drank along side the horseshoe. Natural successor of the '12 alpine and very consistent taste. Good both now and great growth potential. Color with bright gold/dust (not bright as the horseshoe). Very floral nose from pnp. For those who like their chard very 'fresh' (aka young), it is a natural winner. For those who prefer to age their chard, this one has the potential for wonderful aging. Medium plus finish (longer than the horseshoe). Great with all dishes in the meal. Vote of the bottle- first one to be emptied.
93+. Next time, I'd give it more decanting and not have at PnP (though consumed over two hours)

(Edited two days later-- might have been fair to say 94 but I will uphold the initial this time)
