Wednesday, January 28, 2015 - Popped and poured at a restaurant. A bit brighter in color than most zins we are used to. Fruity nose, with a very subdued hint of spice. Quite acidic out of the bottle, but that began to dissipate at the second sip. After it calmed down, this drank well, with lost of fruit on the palate, overwhelming any spice or pepper. Did not taste much alcohol or oak. Might need some time, although the community drinking window is really short. OK for the money.
