Saturday, October 6, 2018 - Decanted and drank during 4 hours, paired with entrecôte, potato and truffle puré and beet polka chips. Dense colour. Initially quite anemic with high acidity. Gradually opens up to reveal an archetypical Médoc character with cassis, cedar, pencil shavings, crushed rocks and white pepper. Medium bodied and structured with nice tannins and still a rather high acidity, medium finish. Will buy a few more to lay down.
