Thursday, September 8, 2022 - Medium ruby, fading just slightly towards the rim. Decanted for about an hour. On the nose this is very classic and proper, though perhaps a touch tight, with aromas of blackcurrants, dried blackberries, loamy earth, smoked rosemary and spice. Medium bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, fine but still slightly grippy tannins and flavors of fresh black fruits and grilled herbs. This is textbook Bordeaux.
