Thursday, January 14, 2021 - Dark fruit (mostly plum), ink and asian spice on the nose, which is fairly muted. Medium to full-bodied, with beautifully balanced acidity and moderate amount of very soft tannins, giving the wine a mild, espresso-like finish. The fruit (plum, cherry) is upfront and vibrant. For such a young Bordeaux, this is surprisingly approachable, with even just a quick, splash decant -- though I'm sure it will improve over the next several years.
