Sunday, October 29, 2023 - Decanted for 30 minutes (with some sediment) and will benefit from some additional decanter time. Deep dark purple core in the glass. Notes of dark fruits and lots of earth on the nose. Some blue fruit, quite a bit of dark red fruit, spice, and some earth on the medium bodied palate. The acidity was lively but balancing with some drying tannins on the finish. Overall, a nice, but not WOW wine that should hold for some years.
