Saturday, March 30, 2013 - Deep garnet, paler at the rim. Mature left bank nose, gentle aromas of cedar, herb and muted blackcurrant fruit. Good acidity and shape onthe atatck and through the mid-palate with flavours similar to the nose, joined by old leather and the damp smell of autumn. Gentle, harmonious, not profound or exciting but really very nice and classic mature claret. Bare ****
