Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - Medium ruby. Soft, fruity medium intense nose, plum and some red-toned fruit, vanilla, spice, slight hint of coffee. Moderately intense on the palate but attractively fruity, soft tannins, just enough acidity, maybe just a hint of bitterness but not particularly intrusive, decent mid-palate interest, vanilla cream moderate length finish. Easy to drink, good mid-week wine, not going to get any better and for drinking over the next 12-18 months.
