Monday, July 15, 2019 - A blend of the five noble grapes, this is a very good wine. Starts out a touch dark and brooding, but an hour in the decanter brings out cassis, blackberries, sage, and menthol. Shades of red fruit, cinnamon, and cloves too. The palate is smooth, chiseled, and structured, with plenty of dark chocolate and gravelly minerality found within the folds. It comes together nicely with a bit of air so it clearly has time ahead of it. Finishes with length and persistence. Nice.
