Wednesday, January 13, 2016 - What fun! Slightly pink in colour. The nose has a lovely whiff of grapefruit, as well as a little bit of stone fruit. The palate is a little bit simple -- this doesn't have the gravitas of a champagne, but there's plenty to like still. A slight bit of bitter grapefruit on the back end, as well as some real crisp minerality. The acid doesn't seem as prevalent here, but make no mistake -- this is not a soft or round bottle of bubbly at all!
