Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - Brilliant. The wine took its time opening up. A gorgeous nose of sweet oak and red and black fruits, transitioning with time to the classic aromas of bacon and smoked meats. Sweet on the palate with amazing structure. The wine is approachable now and should drink well for another 10 years.
