On the palate this was rich, silky smooth and mature, showing broad, mature fruit that has a nice peppery element. Dense bordering on viscous. On the mid-palate and finish, however, this was a touch clipped, and consistently so across both of the two bottles opened. The nose was simply beautiful... made up for anything else.
