100 Points

Thursday, December 20, 2012 - If an award is ever offered for the most consistent 100 Pt wine ever made, clearly, 1991 Guigal La Mouline is at the top of the list to receive it. With a nose packed with smoke, flowers, black raspberry, bacon fat. spice, pepper and kirsch liqueur, it's impossible to pull away from the glass. But the real fireworks take place on the palate, with the exotic, sexy, lush, textures and the seemingly, endless, fresh, spicy, cherry finish. This is bottled decadence.
