Monday, December 9, 2019 - Tasted blind, this wine had a red/purple center and light red rims. The high intensity nose blasted violets, chocolate, plums, roasted meat, and tan spices.

In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe with firm acidity and outstanding length. It had a fine grained texture and made the wine feel three dimensional in my mouth.

This wine was coming into its drinking zone and was dramatic and great. It is unclear if it will get better but I wouldn't bet against it. It will also clearly perform, at least, at this level for a decade. A tour de force!
