Sunday, July 30, 2023 - Medium purple colour. Pronounced aroma of smoke, dried fruit, grilled meat, plum, pepper. Medium acidity and sweetness which blends perfectly with the fine grained tannin. Strong fruit flavours of stewed plum, cherry, blueberry. pepper and spice present throughout. Medium body, long dry finish.
Very good wine, good fruit flavours, length and complexity. The drying tannin can overtake the finish and will require a few more years to reach a good balance.
