Wednesday, February 21, 2007 - This was a lovely medium bodied riserva. It was somewhat reticent on the nose with cherries, a touch of earth and some oak. That palate and finish were lithe and juicy with smooth long black cherry fruit and sleek, fine tannin. Excellent but I am starting to prefer more old school character in my Chiantis.
