Thursday, June 6, 2019 - Taylors cellar door tour tasting (26 Waterloo Street, Surry Hills, Sydney): Again that rubbery reductiveness which, with agitation dissipates to show lashings of peppery spice, alcohol heat and backed black cherries with an interesting rhubarb note here as well as some cedar. Equally spicy on the palate, the fruit slight more muted here but still very present. Quite rambunctious despite 5 years under the belt, the alcohol lends freshness (as in it makes the mouth water) and length. Begs charred steak. Good QPR at $16 a bottle
