Thursday, July 2, 2015 - A violet-tinged ruby. Nose is clean but not much else - hints at blackberry and candied strawberry, artificial fruit in general. Slightly odd nose and lacking in intensity. Palate much the same - inoffensive but not much going on. Medium minus body, medium acidity (pleasant), medium tannins with a very slight lingering bitterness. All in all - a quaffer not worth more than $10 and not worth cellaring (although may improve up to five years). Drink now to 2019.
