Sunday, March 5, 2017 - A true classic. Crisp lemon, apricot, smoke and iodine on the nose. Dry, savory and appropriately acidic on the palate. Very much restrained aromatically with notes of lemon, lees and crushed rock. There is terrific energy and a firm mouthfeel. Nice bitterness to the clean, mouth-watering finish. So authentic that in a way this wine is perfect; it accomplishes exactly what it is supposed to.
