Wednesday, July 22, 2015 - Jim Barry Tasting (Vintage Cellars, Double Bay): On the nose the wine is perfumed and floral with lime and blossom tending to tropical fruit notes and tiny struck match note. In the mouth the wine is tart and juicy and zesty but by no means sharp with flavours of lime and orange, very slight peel tang and green apple on the medium finish which also introduces some alcohol heat though the wine is pleasing and approachable
