Wednesday, April 27, 2016 - A bit muted on the nose, and polished on the palate to start. Seemed more like a 2012 initially, though the freshness of the vintage starts to come out with some coaxing. There's ripe fruit, showing plenty of flesh, approaching a candied element to it, though there's equal parts freshness and minerality to balance. Also shows a nice round texture without any noise, precise, and with good persistence on the finale.
