Thursday, April 17, 2014 - Took this to blind tasting tonight. Decanted 2 hours before. No one guessed it as Shiraz or as an 05. Very complex nose that slowly evolved revealing a variety of aromas over time. Despite the Parker/Jay miller notes, most at the tasting think it has a few years left yet. Lots of big dark fruits remain with smooth & well integrated tannins. Velvety with texture. Nice surprise. Nice job Ben Glaetzer!
