Wednesday, February 28, 2007 - This is a refreshing zinfandel - an exhibition of red fruits (raspberries, cherries, red-skin peaches) and clove-spice. Tasted this against the Hartford 2004 RRV Zin - a true study in contrasts. Hartford is rich, weighty and full of blackberries and dark fruits. This Dutton-Goldfield selection never gets tiresome to drink. This almost seems like a marriage of Pinot Noir sensibilities with prime old vine Zinfandel fruit. Lovely.
